GoldPhield is exclusively working on this search mandate for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a leading regional business with significant operations and investments.
As a core member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will provide top-level strategic financial leadership, driving regional capital raising, equity/debt investor relations, platform valuation, portfolio expansion, and comprehensive risk management across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and C-suite leadership to define, steer, and execute the company’s regional growth and capital deployment strategy across APAC.
Lead strategic corporate equity raising, corporate bond/debt issuances, and high-level banking syndicate relationships; serve as the primary executive liaison to institutional investors, LP partners, and rating agencies.
Oversee corporate M&A, platform acquisitions, joint venture formations, and major asset dispositions, ensuring optimal valuation, tax efficiency, and risk-return profiles for multi-jurisdictional pipelines.
Direct multi-billion dollar project finance strategies, corporate debt issuances, non-recourse facilities, liquidity planning, FX risk management, and capital recycling across diverse APAC markets.
Maintain ultimate oversight over regional accounting, FP&A, tax, audit, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to IFRS, local statutory standards, and ESG framework reporting.
Build, mentor, and scale a world-class regional finance, treasury, and tax organization across multiple APAC operating units to support aggressive platform growth.
Requirements
Minimum 15–20 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5–7 years in a CFO, Deputy CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership role within APAC.
Proven track record in capital raising, investor relations, M&A, strategic transactions, and complex financing structures.
Strong experience managing multi-jurisdictional financial operations and working with senior stakeholders across APAC.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Boards, CEOs, institutional investors, lenders, and other senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, capital allocation, risk, and long-term value creation.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CA, CPA, or CFA designation required. MBA or other advanced qualification preferred.
