GoldPhield is currently conducting a confidential search on behalf of a client for the Head of Finance position. This role will focus on leading financial planning, analysis, and the execution of key projects in the India market, particularly within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will drive strategic financial initiatives, oversee financial modeling, manage project financing, and provide critical insights into the financial aspects of significant deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial analysis and planning (FP&A) for a diverse portfolio of projects in India

• Conduct due diligence, structure capital plans, and develop financial models to support investment propositions.

• Secure financing for large-scale projects and execute trade financing instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees, and offtake agreements.

• Review and negotiate term sheets and deal documentation to ensure favorable financial outcomes.

• Manage the financial strategy for project pipelines, facilitating funding approvals and tracking corporate financial performance.

• Oversee cross-border financial transactions using various instruments, including convertible debt, equity, and loans.

• Implement financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, delivering enhanced transparency and control over financial performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA is an advantage.

• 10-15 years of experience in financial management, ideally in infrastructure or related sectors.

• Expertise in project financing, capital structuring, and financial modeling.

• Strong leadership in financial analysis, including FP&A, due diligence, and securing deal approvals.

• Experience managing financial operations in the energy sector, with knowledge of regulatory compliance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and systems.
